FAQ
Marketplace alerts, answered
How do I get alerts for new Facebook Marketplace listings?
Save a keyword, your ZIP, a radius and an optional price range on Endless. When a new listing near you matches, you get an alert in your Endless inbox and by email, and by instant push on fast alerts. A free account covers 3 keywords.
How is this different from Facebook's Notify me?
You keep several keywords and price filters in one place, each with its own radius. Alerts come by push and email. Each match gets a below-retail price check when the item matches one we track, and listings that look like scams are filtered out.
Is it free?
Yes, for up to 3 keywords with a free Endless account and a confirmed email. One of them, your pick, is a fast alert with instant push; the other 2 are checked about every 5 minutes. Paid plans make every alert fast and raise the limit: Basic 10, Pro 25 and Premium 50 keywords.
Can I get alerts for free stuff near me?
Yes. Tick "Free only" when you save a keyword, or use the word "free" in it, and only listings priced at $0 alert. Phrases such as "free delivery" or "smoke free" do not count as free.
How fast are the alerts?
Alerts typically arrive within minutes of a listing going public. Facebook reviews new listings for a few minutes before anyone can see them; our timing starts when a listing goes live. Fast alerts check the newest listings about every 20 seconds and send an instant push: every alert on a paid plan, and one on a free account, whose other 2 are checked about every 5 minutes. Our test listing was caught within about 1 minute of Facebook approving it, and the inbox alert followed less than a second later.
What is the below-retail flag?
When a listing title names a model we track at a retailer such as Home Depot, Lowe's or Best Buy, the alert shows that retail price and how far below it the listing is. A close title match is shown as a possible match.
How does the scam filter work?
Listings are held back when the same title appears in several cities at once, one seller posts the same item in several cities, or a paid listing is priced far under the retail price of a model-number match. Free listings are never flagged on price.
Do I need to connect my Facebook account?
No. Endless never asks for your Facebook login. To buy, open the listing from the alert and message the seller on Facebook as usual.
Is Endless part of Facebook?
No. Endless is an independent deal-tracking service and is not affiliated with Meta or Facebook.
